He is a Moroccan American who arrived in the US back in January 1989. He pursued his education at the University of Maryland where he got his bachelors of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelors of Art in Economics. He is employed with the Adelphi Research Laboratory and serves as an independent consultant in Computational Linguistics. Jamal Laoudi is an active community member. His activities include serving as a regular contributor to various Moroccan American portals such as The Moroccan American Community Center, moroccancommunitycenter.net, MoroccoBoard.com, WashingtonMoroccanClub.org, Wafin.com. He also blogs at Moroccanvoices.com and has his own blog filsdubled.blog.com.
